Tuesday 16th Jan

Just to warn you before you start reading I didnt take any pics today.. sorry!
I had a good day today. Its nice because I'm really feeling that I'm getting to know the kids alot better and having more fun cos I know what they like to do and how to talk to them alot better now. I get moments where i really miss home and wish i could be back in Scotland but its nice to be doing something different and I'm sure it will be a good thing to look back on. Lets just see if I survive the full 5 weeks and 6 days : ) ...
The morning started as it usually does, kids up at 7, breakfast at half past. Then i stay with Naomi and Joshua while Esther takes them to school. Me and Naomi had a good morning. We made some butterflies but she got a bit bored towards the end and just played with cars and block things for ages instead. She didnt seem to like getting her hands dirty with paint.. will have to coax her out of that one : )
Reuben, Nathanael and Keziah came home for lunch then were back out at 2. We then spent the afternoon making about 100 scones to use up a few bottles of milk that had just gone off. Theyre now bagged up in the freezer!
The evening was better than Thursday.. Keziah and Esther have classes so its a bit of a rush to get out and ready in time. Joshua has been alot happier this week so thats been great. I fed him today which was exciting. I'm starting to get good with babies haha.
Getting them bathed and ready for bed was alot more smoother than Thursday and when Jonathan walked in I was a lot calmer then i had been last week! Maybe its just because he got home alot earlier!
Im still planning to go to the Theology on Tapas in Madrid tomorrow night. Esthers going to come too which will be good.
Its been really nice spending time with Jonathan and Esther and getting to know them. Were alot closer now cos she washed my pants haha. : )
Buenos Noches!

Hi Emma

Good to read about your day. Sounds as though you are a lot more settled. We had our first youth club tonight. It went well with 10 coming along. Hopefully we'll be able to build on that. Our phone is still playing up and the car doesn't want to start and the roof is still to be fixed!!! Sleep well. Dad xxxxx

I hope those pants weren't too dirty !! You sound a lot happier tonoght which makes us feel a lot happier too. I'm glad you miss us from time to time though. Back into the routine of mad Tuesdays. J-Zone was a bit quieter than usual but the new youth group had a good number with a great atmosphere. A good start. Jason came which will please you. He's a bit of an expert at pool. He found his niche there.
Did you mean 100 or 10 scones? Was that an Emma exaggeration? Anywat sleep well knowing that the house and all of our expensive belongings are falling apart as I write. Glad to hear that Esther is going to go with you tomorrow night. When our phone is fixed it would be good to have a good chat both with you and Jonathan and Esther. Lots of love - Mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Emma,
thanks for the day-in-the-life-of-the-Bromley's:-)Don't worry, the days will go in faster and faster and you'll be back in Scotland (where it'll still be raining) dreaming about the wonderful sunshine and wondering where the time went!
I'm jsut about to leave to collect Tina from a birthday party at the local ten-pin bowling alley, drop David off at rugby training, drop Tina home, then back to watch David while talking to the other parents in the rain :-)
Bye4now,

Hi Emma
Hope you've had a good day today. I was hoping to read about your day but I guess you've been busy and that will include your evening in Madrid.
Our car is dead. I drove Janet's car to my signing class and did not add any bumps or scratches. I found out that I passed my assessment - so that is a relief. Tonight we had to describe our family members. I described you well including that you have left me for 6 weeks to go on holiday to Spain. I hope the car can be fixed tomorrow. Good night. Look forward to hearing from you tomorrow.
Love Mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
